Affiliates

The Community Foundation service area is the Greater Washington, DC geographic region. To provide specific services to sub-parts of its service area, The Foundation has adopted an "area affiliate" organizational structure establishing two "area affiliates" known as The Community Foundation for Montgomery County and The Community Foundation for Prince George's County to localize its exempt activities in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties, MD.

 

 The Community Foundation for Montgomery County encourages residents of Montgomery County to give -- whether locally, regionally and/or internationally. The Foundation's Sharing Montgomery Fund is focused on nonprofit organizations serving children and families. www.thecommunityfoundationmc.org
The Community Foundation for Prince George's County supports nonprofit organizations and the nonprofit sector in growing Prince George's County. Among other projects, The Foundation houses and administers the National Harbor Community Outreach Grant Fund. www.thecommunityfoundationpgc.org
