Ashley joined the Greater Washington Community Foundation in late 2023 as the Director of Human Resources and Administration. In this role, she implements HR strategy that supports the organization's mission while aligning HR practices, policies, and administrative operations with organizational goals.

With a passion for mission-driven work, she transitioned from corporate to the nonprofit sector in 2018 to leverage her HR expertise in the service of organizations focused on community impact. She champions equitable HR practices that center employee wellbeing and organizational sustainability; and brings 15+ years of HR experience spanning employee relations and engagement, talent acquisition, benefits administration, training and development, inclusion and diversity initiatives, and organizational culture development.

Ashley holds a BA in Journalism and Communications with a Public Relations emphasis from an HBCU and is a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). An active SHRM member, she has served on a local SHRM chapter board of directors in several capacities, and as a District Director for the Virginia & DC SHRM State Council.  Currently, she serves as the State Council's 2026 DEI Director.
