Small Business Transformation in Action
"Without the Small Business Support Program, I don't think we would have made it."
In 2024, The Community Foundation partnered with PNC to award nearly $500,000 in capital grants and technical assistance to 17 small businesses along Prince George's County's Blue and Purple Line corridors. The program helped owners like Brighter Beginnings 4 Kids and Flavors Culinary Hub rebuild, expand, and reinvest in their communities.
As the program wrapped up in 2025, we caught up with partners to hear about the impact the support had on their businesses and the communities they serve.
Sharing Community Initiative
The Sharing Community Funds awarded $1.25 million in grants to nonprofits addressing needs across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
Thanks to the generosity of this growing community of givers, we invested in visionary nonprofits working on the frontlines of food insecurity, youth programming, mental health and wellness, economic mobility, and wealth building.
