Jim Green

Senior Vice President, Government Affairs and Public Policy

Salesforce

Jim Green is the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Salesforce. He oversees the company’s government relations and policy initiatives for state and local government in the U.S., as well as public affairs globally.

Prior to joining Salesforce in 2014, Jim founded T4A.org, a non-profit organization that works to create a network of entrepreneurs committed to redefining the public-private sector relationship. Jim has worked on four U.S. Presidential campaigns, including the 2012 re-election of President Barack Obama. Jim founded and led Tech4Obama and organized the technology industry for the re-election campaign.

Jim has more than 20 years of experience in bringing together politics, policy, technology and the non-profit sector. He resides in Oakland with his wife Cammy, son James Jr. and daughter Mavis.

Rekha Grennan

Director, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy

Cisco Systems, Inc.

Rekha Grennan works on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and programs at Cisco Systems, Inc. She has extensive global cross-sector experience leading programs and collaborations in government, start-up, non-profit and corporate enterprises. Prior to joining Cisco, Rekha led an independent CSR and Sustainability strategy consulting practice building on her in-house experience as a Director for Corporate Responsibility at Pfizer, Inc. At Pfizer she managed several signature programs including a global disease elimination partnership with the World Health Organization and Pfizer’s Global Health Fellows program.

Rekha has a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University in International Affairs and Environmental Policy and Analysis. She is a former Term-Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and lives in New York City.

Celeste James

Executive Director, Community Health

Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States

Celeste James, Executive Director of Community Health for Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States, leads Kaiser Permanente’s Community Health Department, which engages in program development and implementation, grantmaking, and public policy advocacy to create conditions for health and well-being in Kaiser Permanente communities, with a commitment to health, racial, and economic equity.

Celeste’s career spans 30 years in the health and media industry, including leading corporate communications for USA TODAY/Gannett Co., Inc., U.S. News & World Report magazine, and NPR (National Public Radio). Celeste serves as a Commissioner on the Maryland State Governor’s Community Health Resources Commission; co-chair of Washington Regional Food Funders, a collaborative of funders dedicated to improving our regional food system; a Board Member of Crittenton Services of Greater Washington, supporting girls in DC and Montgomery County, Maryland Public Schools, and a Board Member of Employ Prince George’s, a workforce readiness 501c3 Nonprofit; under Prince George’s County Government. Celeste is a graduate of Cleveland State University. She relaxes with great cuisine, music and laughter.

Ann Marie Oliva (Moderator)

Senior Policy Advisor

Corporation for Supportive Housing

Ann Oliva is the Senior Policy Advisor to the CEO at CSH, currently focused on increasing local capacity to develop a system-level response to homelessness. Prior to joining CSH, Ms. Oliva was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Special Needs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she oversaw a multi-billion dollar portfolio that included the Department’s work on homelessness and housing for persons living with HIV/AIDS. During her 10-year tenure at HUD, Ms. Oliva successfully designed and implemented a variety of initiatives and programs, including a $1.5 Billion homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing program funded through the Recovery Act, and a demonstration to end youth homelessness in 10 communities. Ms. Oliva has also worked at the community level, including as Director of Programs at the Community Partnership in Washington, DC.

Racquel Russell

Vice President, Government Relations and Public Affairs

Zillow Group

Racquel Russell joined Zillow Group in January 2015 to create and lead the company’s government relations, social impact and community engagement functions. In her current capacity as vice president, Racquel oversees Zillow Group’s community and civic engagement, public policy, housing thought leadership as well as external partnerships and collaborations with government and nonprofit organizations at the local, regional and national level. Previously, Racquel led the White House Office of Urban Affairs and Economic Mobility, serving as a senior advisor to President Barack Obama with a broad portfolio including neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing, economic opportunity, nutrition policy and women’s health. Prior to joining the White House in September 2010, Racquel held leadership roles in the offices of U.S. Sens. Tom Carper and Bob Graham as well as for the National Governors Association. Racquel received her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Miami.
